This new and improved next generation D Passive Dummy Cell Battery eliminates the need for the 2-component solution used in the original first-generation D Passive Dummy Cell Battery resulting in a higher reliability solution. The original first-generation version is constructed of a AA Passive Dummy Cell Battery that slides into a hollow plastic D cell battery dummy case. Since this new and improved next generation design is a single component, you don’t have to worry about the AA Passive Dummy Cell Battery falling out of the hollow plastic D cell battery dummy case. It also means not having to worry about the positive (+) terminal of the AA Passive Dummy Cell Battery making good contact with the internal positive (+) terminal of the hollow plastic D cell battery dummy case.
