Since this cable is extremely thin and flexible, it can be run around battery compartment covers, through narrow cracks and around tight corners, and it can also be run under items allowing them to sit flat without tilting or wobbling. The cable polarity is indicated with a white mark on the insulation of the FFC cable. This white mark indicates the conductor that is attached to the center conducting pin on the 2.1mm x 5.5mm female barrel socket connector.
