Wall & Post Mount with Rotating Ball and Standard 1/4"-20 Tripod Mount Male Screw Threads - Works with Solar Panels & Accessories

Description

This wall & post mount has 1/4"-20 male screw threads on the top of a swivel ball for attachment to our solar panels that have 1/4"-20 female screw thread sockets on the back. The flange on the base of this wall & post mount can be attached to a flat surface such as a wall or post using the screws included in the mounting kit. The swivel ball assembly can be adjusted in both azimuth and elevation. The azimuth angle can be rotated a full 360°, and the elevation angle can be adjusted up to 45° and a full 90° when the stem on the swivel ball is positioned in the notch in the retaining stem. These versatile adjustment options allow for positioning of a solar panel to better align with the direction of the sun. See the illustrations for more details about these positioning options and application examples. Once the position of the solar panel is determined, the adjustment collar can be firmly tightened to hold the solar panel in place. The round base jam nut can then be firmly tightened up against the back of the solar panel to prevent the solar panel from inadvertently rotating. The flange mount, base, retaining stem and adjustment collar are made of a black painted aluminum alloy, and the round base jam nut is made of a black plastic ABS material. The swivel ball is also made of an aluminum alloy material to prevent rust & corrosion. The flange mount has a diameter of 2.25” (5.72cm), and the overall height of the wall & post mount is 4” (10.16cm). This versatile wall & post mount can also be used with trail cameras, security cameras, motion sensors, and many other types of devices that have standard 1/4"-20 tripod mount female screw threads.

· Firmly tighten adjustment collar to prevent attached device from rotating or moving from the desired position. Failure to properly tighten the adjustment knob can result in damage to the attached device.
