Description
This DC to DC Buck/Step-Down Voltage Regulator
has an IP68 outdoor rating and can be used to convert a DC input voltage ranging
from 12VDC to 24VDC to a DC output voltage of 1.5VDC and can supply up to 3A of
output current (4.5W). The regulator
comes with stripped and tinned bare wire ends.
This regulator can be used to power electronic devices that use 1 x AAA,
1 x AA, 1 x C or 1 x D battery. Great
for automotive applications.
Since this DC to DC power adapter can supply up to 3A of output current, you
can power more than just a single electronic device.
IMPORTANT
NOTES: This DC to DC Power Adapter Converts an input voltage ranging from 12VDC
to 24VDC into 1.5VDC which is what’s needed to supply power to electronic
devices that use 1 x AAA, 1 x AA, 1 x C or 1 x D batteries. A regular
alkaline battery supplies about 1.5VDC, so a single battery supplies about
1.5VDC, so the 1.5VDC supplied by this power adapter is well within the range
required by electronic devices that operate on a single alkaline
battery. The power adapter is supplying the same power as these single
batteries, and your electronic devices won’t know the difference. This
power adapter can power more than one electronic device, so if you need to
power multiple electronic devices from a single DC to DC power adapter. 1 x AA Active Dummy Cell Battery with stripped
and tinned bare wire ends (AA-ACTIVE-DUMMY-ZIP) can be used for each electronic
device you wish to power. This DC to DC power adapter will not work with
electronic devices that use more than 1 x alkaline battery.
